Riverside County SELPA
The SELPA Office The Riverside County Special Education Local Plan Area (SELPA) is the largest multi-district SELPA in California, with 24 local educational agencies (LEA) members. The SELPA is responsible for supporting members in the implementation of the legal requirements of the Individuals with Disabilities Education Improvement Act (IDEIA), and its supporting regulations for Special Education. The SELPA is the regionalized services link between the California Department of Education (CDE), Special Education Division and the LEAs. Members work collaboratively together and with other public agencies to make available a full continuum of special education services for students with disabilities from birth to age 22.

RC SELPA is in charge of making all changes in the IEP Forms based on recommendations from the Coordinated Council. All school districts within RC SELPA use Special Education Information System (SEIS) as their main tool for writing IEPs and maintaining an accurate history for each student with special needs. PSUSD provides SEIS training to all new teachers and ongoing support as requested through the year. At times, the SEIS system is not in use and it is necessary to use paper forms. These forms can be found at the SELPA Forms page. Thy can be printed or saved as necessary.
